Flower Sweet Bread with Chocolate Filling

✅ Ingredients (Soft & Fluffy Dough)

  • 500 g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml (1 cup) warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g (⅓ cup) sugar
  • 80 g (⅓ cup) melted butter
  • 10 g (1 packet) dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

✅ Filling Options (choose one):

  • Chocolate spread / Nutella
  • Cinnamon + sugar + butter
  • Date paste
  • Sweet cream cheese

✅ For Brushing:

  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk
  • Honey or apricot jam for shine (optional)

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Activate Yeast

Mix:

  • Warm milk + sugar + yeast
    Rest 10 minutes until foamy.

2️⃣ Make Dough

Add:

  • Eggs, butter, vanilla, salt
    Gradually add flour and knead 10 minutes until soft and elastic.

Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.

3️⃣ Shape the Flower (Important Part 🌸)

  1. Divide dough into 9 equal balls
  2. Roll each into a circle
  3. Spread chocolate on 8 pieces
  4. Stack them on top of each other
  5. Place plain dough on top
  6. Cut into 8 slices (like pizza)
  7. Twist each slice outward
  8. Arrange in greased round pan

Let rise 20–30 minutes

4️⃣ Bake

Brush with egg wash

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes

Brush with honey/jam while hot for shine ✨
